  Peaceful relaxing get away. The chef was happy to accommodate for my gluten allergy for all meals and snacks. She offers fresh baked cookies at all times for everyone but she had a special gluten free batch for me in my room upon arrival. The owners are very gracious.

  I have now officially been here 7 times. I have never come in early spring and I was amazed at the intensity of the green pastures. Marcia welcomed me back with chocolate strawberries and sparkling wine. :)
  I love how they have added amazing stone and beamed elements to the rooms. They said they are redoing the Austrian and Elm Creek suite with new beaming and plaster soon. Just love the medieval feel of the place. The Saturday night dinner was delicious and loved the baked Acorn squash with honey and the vanilla creme brule' cheese cake!!! They are about to move the old barn from the creek, up the hill by the driveway. Brad said they were going to beam and plaster it to look like the old barns in Germany. They are now, turning the lower pasture that has the meandering Elm Creek along the banks into a beautiful park area for guests. There is also a new outdoor entertainment area with gas fireplace going in this summer and also a new cottage in the works for early next year. I just love getting the scoop on the place as they NEVER stop doing new tings!!!! I will be back!!

  On a recent trip home to Texas my husband and I found Elm Creek Manor. We were met by beautiful grounds only to be followed up by the Inn itself which is amazing. Inside we were surrounded by comfort and old world elegance which created a peaceful homey feeling. We stayed in one of the cottages, which gave us the privacy we wanted and we were pleasantly suprised when our breakfast was delivered to our room every morning. For me the farm to table experience from gathering the eggs to the gourmet meals, prepared by the owners, was the best part of our visit. I also need to say that the owners and staff made us feel welcome and at home and we can't wait to go again next time we are in
  Texas.
